Diabetes Care

Being diagnosed with diabetes can be a shock. When newly diagnosed with diabetes, most people find themselves in a state of shock. However, being diagnosed with diabetes doesn’t prevent you from leading a ‘normal’ life.

Thyroid Care

Thyroid care involves regular monitoring, stress management, and a nutrient-rich diet with iodine and selenium. Early detection and treatment of thyroid issues are vital for maintaining hormonal balance and overall patient’s health.

PCOS / PCOD

PCOS is a hormonal condition. Hormones are chemical messengers that control the way the body works. During puberty hormone changes send out signals in the body to start periods in girls. It’s a common condition with up to 1 in 5 women of child-bearing age affected.

Hypertension

Hypertension, or high blood pressure, occurs when the force of blood against artery walls is consistently too high. It can lead to heart disease, stroke, and other complications.

Cholesterol & Lipid

Cholesterol and lipid disorders involve abnormal levels of fats in the blood, increasing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular issues. Management includes diet, exercise, and medication.

Obesity

Obesity is a condition of excessive body fat affecting health. It increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease & joint issues. Management includes a balanced diet, regular exercise & medical intervention if necessary.

Pubertal Disorders

Pubertal disorders encompass conditions where the physical changes of puberty, like breast development, pubic hair growth, and voice deepening, occur either too early or too late.

Menopause

Menopause is the natural and permanent end of menstruation, typically occurring between the ages of 45 and 55. It signifies the end of a woman's reproductive years and is caused by a decline in estrogen production by the ovaries.

Growth Disorders

Growth disorders are conditions that affect a child's ability to develop at a normal rate in terms of height, weight, or sexual maturity. These disorders can be caused by a variety of factors, including hormonal imbalances, genetic conditions, and chronic diseases.

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a disease in which your bones become weak and are likely to fracture (break). The disease can develop when your bone mineral density and bone mass decrease. It can also happen if the structure and strength of your bones change.

Peripheral Neuropathy

Peripheral neuropathy refers to damage to the peripheral nervous system, the network of nerves outside the brain and spinal cord. This damage can disrupt communication between the brain and the rest of the body, leading to a variety of symptoms, most commonly affecting the hands and feet.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetic retinopathy is a diabetes-related eye condition that damages the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. It's a leading cause of blindness, particularly in working-age adults. High blood sugar levels cause damage to the blood vessels in the retina, which can lead to vision problems and, in severe cases, blindness.

Other Hormonal Disorders

Hormonal disorders, also known as endocrine disorders, occur when the body's glands produce too much or too little of a hormone, or when the body doesn't respond properly to hormones. These imbalances can affect various bodily functions and lead to a range of symptoms.
